Be Still… exploring silent prayer in the Christian Tradition

Be Still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46). 

When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you (Matthew 6 vs 6).

A very warm welcome to Be Still, the Chichester Contemplative Prayer Group based in the Cathedral City of Chichester, UK. We provide opportunities in this busy world to stop and sit in peace with others, and with God. 

We are an ecumenical group, and we welcome people from all faiths and none.  We meet twice a month on Zoom for readings and for quiet, meditative prayer.

Next meetings are on 1st April and 15th April

We are also planning to resume meetings in person - please email us for further details.

We also organise study days from time to time.
